About Raft Wars 1

Raft Wars puts you in charge of Simon and his little brother, stuck on a raft loaded with treasure while everyone up and down the coast suddenly wants a piece of it. Enemies line up on nearby platforms, docks, and rival rafts, and the only thing standing between them and your loot is a tennis ball launcher.

Each level plays out as a straightforward shooting gallery: line up your shot against the gap between you and the target, then clear the screen before enough hits land on you first.

Controls

Click and hold on your character to start aiming, then drag the mouse to set the angle and power of the shot — a trajectory line shows where it will land. Release to fire a tennis ball at whoever you're lined up on.

Tips

  • Getting knocked off the raft ends the attempt, so don't trade hits with an enemy you could out-range instead.
  • Clear the closest or most exposed enemy first — thinning out return fire is safer than always chasing the toughest target.
  • Save up for a weapon upgrade rather than spending on the first one available; later enemies take more than a basic tennis ball to bring down.

It's a pick-up-and-play artillery game — no story beats to track, just the next shot and how many levels you can clear in one sitting.

Raft Wars 1 FAQ

How do you aim in Raft Wars 1?
Click and hold on your character, drag the mouse to set the angle and power of your shot, and release to fire — a trajectory line shows where the ball will land before you let go.
What happens if you get hit too many times?
Getting knocked off your own raft ends the attempt, so watching your defense matters as much as landing shots on enemies.
Can you upgrade your weapons?
Yes, clearing levels earns you resources you can spend on stronger weapons than the starting tennis ball launcher.
Is this the same as Raft Wars 2?
No — Raft Wars 2 is a separate sequel with its own levels and setting. This page covers the original Raft Wars 1.
