The short version
- Nothing here needs an account, an install or a plugin
- Progress in most games is saved by the game itself, in your browser — clearing site data clears it
- A game that will not start is usually a dead build on the host's end, not your browser
- The report button is a faster fix than an email, because it identifies the exact game
Frequently asked
A game will not load. Is it me or you?
Reload once, then try fullscreen. If it still fails, it is almost certainly the build rather than your browser, and the report button on that page tells us which one. Games flagged this way get checked against the nightly sweep and either repaired or removed.
Will my progress be saved?
In most games, yes — but the game saves it in your own browser storage, not on our servers. It survives closing the tab and it does not follow you to another device or survive clearing site data. An account here does not back it up.
Do I need an account?
Not to play anything. An account only unlocks commenting, saving games to a shelf and keeping a play history. Everything else works logged out.
Why do some games behave differently on a phone?
Mobile browsers block audio and fullscreen until you tap something, so some titles need a tap to start that desktop does not. A few older games were built for a keyboard and mouse and were never given touch controls — those are genuinely worse on a phone, and no wrapper fixes it.
Can I get a game added?
Ask on the request page. Whether it happens depends on finding a build that is embeddable and stable — plenty of well-known titles block being framed at all, and those we simply cannot host.
A game disappeared. What happened?
Its build stopped working and no replacement source could be found, so it was removed rather than left as a page that loads nothing. Its URL now points at the closest working game instead of a dead end.
