About Among Us

Among Us is a frantic game of teamwork and betrayal for 4 to 15 players. Set aboard a spaceship, you are randomly assigned as either a Crewmate or an Impostor. As a Crewmate, your job is to run around the map completing maintenance tasks like wiring panels and swiping ID cards. If you see a body, report it to call a meeting and discuss who might be the killer.

If you roll Impostor, your goal is to eliminate the crew before they finish their tasks. You can sneak through vents to escape a crime scene, sabotage the ship's lights to plunge the map into darkness, or trigger critical emergencies like an oxygen leak to force players to scatter. The tension peaks during emergency meetings, where players debate, accuse, and vote to eject suspects into space.

Controls

  • WASD or Arrow Keys: Move around the map
  • Mouse: Interact with tasks, click buttons, and navigate menus
  • Spacebar: Use/Interact, Report body, or Kill (if Impostor)

Tips

  • Watch the taskbar: It should go up when a Crewmate finishes a task. If someone stands at a panel but the bar doesn't move, they might be faking it.
  • Use the admin table: Check the map to see how many people are in each room. This is a great way to catch an Impostor moving too quickly between distant rooms using vents.
  • Fake tasks carefully: As an Impostor, don't stand at short tasks (like swiping a card) for too long, or experienced players will notice.

Whether you're carefully deducing the killer's identity or pulling off the perfect sabotage, it's a brilliant party game for a group of friends.

Among Us FAQ

Can PC and mobile players play Among Us together?
Yes, Among Us fully supports cross-platform multiplayer. Players on mobile devices, PC, and consoles can all join the same private or public lobbies using a shared room code.
How do you win as the Impostor?
An Impostor wins when the number of alive crewmates is equal to the number of alive Impostors. You can achieve this by secretly eliminating crewmates and using sabotages to split them up or create fatal emergencies.
What happens when you die as a crewmate?
When killed by an Impostor or voted out, you become a ghost. Ghosts can move through walls and must still finish their tasks to help the living crewmates win, but they cannot participate in meetings or fix sabotages.
