About Basket Random

Basket Random throws out all the rules of traditional basketball in favor of pure, unpredictable physics-based chaos. In this two-player sports game, you control a pair of pixelated athletes who move like ragdolls, flailing and flipping in a desperate attempt to score. There is no dribbling or passing—just a single button used to jump and throw the ball, making every match a hilarious struggle to maintain balance and secure a basket.

To keep things fresh, every round introduces a new set of conditions. The court might suddenly be covered in ice, your players could spawn with unusually long arms, or the standard basketball might be swapped out for a heavy iron ball. The first team to reach five points wins the match. It runs directly in the browser with no installation needed, so you can jump right into a quick game solo or against a friend.

Controls

Both players on your team jump and swing their arms at the same time when you press your button.

  • Player 1: Press W
  • Player 2: Press Up Arrow

Tips

  • Don't mash the button: Spamming jump will only result in your players face-planting. Wait for the perfect moment when the ball is directly above you to strike.
  • Play defense: Sometimes the best strategy is to let the opponent make the first move, then jump into their path to block the ball with your players' bodies.
  • Watch the modifiers: Pay attention to the round conditions. A heavy ball requires a solid, direct hit to reach the hoop, while a lighter ball can easily bounce out of bounds.
