About Jetpack Joyride

Strap on a machine gun jetpack and smash your way out of a top-secret laboratory as Barry Steakfries. Jetpack Joyride is a fast-paced endless runner where every run is a high-speed balancing act. The further you fly, the faster the screen scrolls, throwing a relentless barrage of electric zappers, homing missiles, and laser grids in your path while you scramble to collect coins and vehicle power-ups.

Each run is driven by a constant stream of bite-sized missions, keeping the momentum going even when you inevitably crash. Along the way, you can grab special vehicle tokens to ride in a mechanical dragon, a stomping mech suit, or a gravity-defying motorcycle. Since there is nothing to download or install, you can jump straight into the action directly in your browser.

Controls

The controls rely entirely on one simple input, making it easy to pick up but hard to master at high speeds:

  • Tap or Click and Hold: Fire the jetpack to fly upward.
  • Release: Stop firing and fall toward the ground.

Tips

  • Hover near the center: Try to keep Barry in the middle third of the screen whenever possible. This gives you the maximum reaction time to dodge incoming missiles or sudden zapper walls from above and below.
  • Let go early: It takes a split second for gravity to pull you down after you stop boosting. If you wait until you are right next to an obstacle before releasing, you will probably hit it.
  • Grab vehicles immediately: Vehicles like the Lil' Stomper or Bad As Hog completely change your movement, but more importantly, they act as a free shield. Taking a hit while in a vehicle only destroys the vehicle, letting Barry continue the run.

Jetpack Joyride FAQ

Can I save my progress in Jetpack Joyride?
Yes, your coins, unlocked gadgets, and mission progress are saved automatically in your browser's local storage between sessions.
What happens when you grab a Spin Token?
Spin Tokens are used in the slot machine at the end of your run. You can win bonus coins, score multipliers, head starts for your next run, or even a Second Chance revive to continue your current game.
How do vehicles work?
