Catch the Candy is a physics-based puzzle game made by Yohoho Games, originally released on Poki. You control a soft, stretchy blob whose only goal is to reach a piece of candy at the end of each level, and the whole game is built around one control: click and drag to stretch your character toward a wall or platform, then release to swing or launch it forward.
Each level is really a small physics puzzle — you're reading the layout, working out which surfaces you can stretch to, and timing your release so momentum carries you past spikes, saws, and moving platforms rather than into them. Most levels also scatter a few stars around the stage that reward a more careful, indirect route if you're chasing a perfect run rather than just reaching the candy.
Controls
Click and hold on the blob to grab it. Drag toward a surface to stretch your character toward it. Release to swing or launch toward your target. There's no keyboard input — everything is controlled with the mouse, or a finger on touch devices.
Tips
- Look at the whole level before you start pulling — the fastest route to the candy is rarely a straight line once stars and hazards are in the mix.
- Momentum carries over between swings, so lining up a good angle on your first stretch makes the next one easier.
- There's no time limit, so if you miss a star, just restart the level instead of trying to double back.
It's a good fit for anyone who likes short, physics-driven puzzles they can pick up for a few minutes at a time rather than a game that demands a long session.
