Castel Wars Modern Game

Castle Wars Modern is a local two-player action brawler built for one keyboard and one screen. Two fighters square off across sci-fi arenas — a moon base, a futuristic city skyline, zombie-infested streets — swinging melee weapons, throwing swords, and building blocks to gain the high ground or block an attack. There's no online matchmaking here: you either duel a friend sitting next to you or take turns learning the same controls.

Rounds move fast. Whoever lands the decisive hits first wins the exchange, so positioning and timing with your weapon throws matter more than reflexes alone. Because both players share a keyboard, most sessions turn into quick best-of-several rematches rather than long grinding matches.

Controls

Player 1: A/D to move, W to jump, S to create a block, Q to change weapon, E to hit or throw your weapon.

Player 2: Left/Right arrows to move, Up arrow to jump, Down arrow to create a block, M to change weapon, L to hit or throw your weapon.

Tips

• Hold the hit/throw key while carrying a sword to throw it instead of swinging — useful for hitting an opponent who's kept their distance.
• Dropping a block with S (or the Down arrow) mid-fight can block an incoming throw or give you higher ground to jump from.
• Switch weapons with Q/M between rounds if the current one isn't landing hits at your preferred range.

It suits two people on the same device looking for a quick, no-download duel rather than players hunting for an online shooter.
