Super Hexbee Merger takes the familiar match-and-merge puzzle formula and maps it onto a honeycomb grid. You are given a queue of numbered bees and must place them one by one into the available hexagonal slots. When three identical bees touch, they snap together into a single, upgraded bee with a higher number, freeing up valuable board space.
The hexagonal layout drastically changes the strategy compared to square grids, offering six possible directions for matching. A single well-placed bee can trigger a cascading chain reaction of merges, wiping out half the board in an instant. The session only ends when every single tile is filled and you have nowhere left to place your next piece.
Controls
- Left Click / Tap: Place the current bee into an empty hex tile
Tips for High Scores
- Group your highest numbers: Keep your largest bees clustered near one edge of the board. If you scatter them, they will become immovable obstacles that eventually choke off your available space.
- Plan for the queue: Always look at the upcoming bees before making a move. Setting up a board where a "2" will merge, which then creates a "3" that merges into a "4", is the key to surviving the later stages.
- Save your wildcards: Occasionally, you will receive a rainbow bee. Hold onto it until you absolutely need to trigger a chain reaction to save yourself from filling the board.
If you enjoy methodical logic puzzles that let you play at your own pace without a ticking timer, this relaxing numbers game is an excellent choice.
