Stupid Zombies turns the classic zombie apocalypse into a game of angles and geometry. You stand in one place with a shotgun, facing down a screen full of stationary undead. Instead of running and gunning, you have to aim carefully and use the environment to your advantage, as your bullets can ricochet off walls to hit multiple targets in a single shot.
Every level gives you a strict limit on ammunition. Since you rarely have enough bullets to shoot every zombie directly, the core challenge lies in finding the perfect trajectory. A single well-placed shot can bounce down a corridor, set off an explosive barrel, and clear out an entire room. It is a slow-paced puzzle game that rewards spatial awareness and planning over fast reflexes.
Controls
- Aim by clicking and dragging with your mouse or finger
- Release to fire the shotgun
Tips
Always look for the red explosive barrels before taking your first shot. They have a large blast radius and can clear out dense clusters of enemies without relying on perfect ricochets.
The bullets bounce off the edges of the screen as well as internal walls. If a zombie is tucked behind cover, bouncing your shot off the ceiling or the back wall is often the only way to reach them.
Try to conserve ammo. Finishing a level with spare bullets gives you a higher score, so always look for ways to eliminate two or three targets with one pull of the trigger.
If you enjoy physics puzzles like Angry Birds but want a slightly darker theme with satisfying chain reactions, this shooter is a perfect fit for short sessions.
