Hero VS Criminal is a fast-paced, 3D arcade-style pursuit game where you step into the shoes of a high-speed hero on a mission to bring fleeing lawbreakers to justice. Set on a busy highway, the game challenges you to weave through dense traffic, maintain high pursuit speeds, and stay hot on the heels of criminals before they can make a clean getaway. Every run is a test of your reflexes and situational awareness as you dodge commuter cars, semi-trucks, and various road hazards.

A typical session feels like an intense chase sequence straight out of an action movie. As you close the distance, you will need to utilize your energy shield to protect yourself from incoming projectiles and sudden obstacles thrown in your path. Balancing speed with protection is crucial; deploying your shield at the right moment keeps you safe but requires careful timing so you do not lose valuable ground. With boss encounters, unique levels, and a variety of hero skins to unlock, each pursuit keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Controls

On desktop, you can navigate the highway and manage your pursuit using the following controls:

• Move / Switch Lanes: A and D keys, or Left and Right Arrow keys
• Sprint / Accelerate: Hold the Left Mouse Button
• Shield / Protect: Release the Left Mouse Button

On mobile or tablet devices, the controls are adapted for touchscreens:

• Move / Switch Lanes: Swipe left or right across the screen
• Shield / Protect: Lift your finger off the screen

Tips

• Weave Early, Not Late: The speed increases rapidly as the chase goes on. Plan your lane changes multiple cars ahead rather than reacting at the last second to avoid sudden collisions.
• Time Your Shield: Only release the sprint to activate your shield when a projectile or obstacle is absolutely unavoidable. Keeping the mouse button held down maintains maximum speed, which is key to closing the gap.
• Keep the Distance Indicator in Mind: Watch the distance meter at the top of the screen. If the criminal gets too far ahead, they will escape, ending your run immediately. Keep the pressure on!
