Gun Fest is a frantic auto-runner that replaces the usual racing mechanics with rapid-fire arithmetic. You begin each level steering a single firearm down a track, but the real challenge is building that lone pistol into an unstoppable arsenal. It is a game of constant, split-second decisions where you must swipe your weapons through gates that multiply or add to your total count while avoiding gates that divide or subtract.
The pace is unforgiving. As your weapons fire automatically, you must weave left and right to navigate through the blue positive gates and steer clear of the red negative ones. Sometimes enemies block the best routes, forcing you to focus your fire to clear a path. The entire level culminates in a final showdown where you unleash your accumulated firepower on a getaway van to maximize your score.
Controls
The game uses simple swipe mechanics.
- Left-click and drag: Steer your weapon cluster left or right across the track.
Tips
- Understand the math: Always calculate your current weapon count before choosing a gate. An "x3" gate is incredibly powerful when you have 20 weapons, but useless if you only have 2. In the early stretch, flat addition gates (like "+15") are usually the better choice.
- Sacrifice for the greater good: If you are forced into a tight spot, hitting a physical obstacle or an enemy is often better than passing through a division gate, as you will typically lose fewer weapons in the collision.
- Clear the path: Use your automatic fire to blast away enemies standing in front of high-value gates rather than swerving into a bad gate just to avoid them.
If you like fast-paced runners that test your reflexes and your ability to do basic math under pressure, this chaotic shooter offers a perfect short-session loop.
