You play as Boyfriend, trying to impress Girlfriend while surviving intense vocal battles set against a desert military backdrop. The pace is relentless, demanding precision and fast reflexes to keep your health bar in the green across three challenging tracks: Ugh, Guns, and Stress.

The core loop is simple to understand but incredibly tough to master. Notes scroll up the screen, and you must hit the corresponding arrow keys exactly as they overlap with the targets at the top. Missing notes drains your health, and if the bar fully turns to your opponent's color, it is game over. Week 7 introduces unique cutscenes and a significant spike in difficulty compared to earlier weeks.
