About Dunkers - Play Online for Free! | Poki

Dunkers is a physics basketball game where nothing about your character behaves the way you'd expect. Your arms spin in constant windmill circles, and you jump into the ball to knock it toward the hoop rather than dribbling or shooting it normally. Getting a shot to actually go in takes some getting used to, and that clumsiness is the joke the whole game is built around.

Matches are short bursts against another player, either the computer or a friend on the same keyboard, with whoever scores the most baskets before time runs out taking the round. Stealing the ball away from your opponent mid-spin is just as important as scoring, since a wild swing of the arms can knock the ball loose as easily as it can send it toward the net.

Controls

Move with the arrow keys: right arrow jumps your character forward, left arrow jumps backward. Your arms rotate automatically the whole time, so positioning the jump is the only thing you actually control.

Tips

  • Time your jump so your spinning arms meet the ball on the way up, not the way down.
  • Jumping into an opponent right as they're holding the ball is often the fastest way to steal it.
  • Short hops near the hoop give you more control than one big jump from distance.

Play Career mode alone against the computer, or switch to 2-Player for local head-to-head matches.

Right arrow jumps forward and left arrow jumps backward. There's no separate button for your arms, they rotate on their own the whole match.
How do you steal the ball from your opponent?
