Drive Mad strips a driving game down to two inputs and dares you to make it through anyway. There's no steering wheel to wrestle and no map to read — just a small vehicle, a ribbon of track built from ramps, seesaws, gaps and tilting platforms, and two directions to move in. Getting through a level is less about speed and more about patience: knowing exactly when to ease off the gas so the car doesn't nose-dive off a ramp, or when to reverse a few inches to reset your balance before a jump.
Each level is a short physics puzzle rather than a race. Momentum carries over from one obstacle to the next, so a clumsy landing on one ramp can leave the car pointed the wrong way for the one after it. Crash and the level resets instantly, which keeps the loop fast even when a single stretch of track takes several tries to clear.
Controls
Desktop: Right Arrow to accelerate forward, Left Arrow to brake and reverse. Mobile: tap and hold the on-screen arrow buttons the same way.
Tips
- Let go of the accelerator before hitting a ramp — carrying too much speed into a jump is what sends the car flipping.
- Tap the reverse key in short bursts rather than holding it; small corrections keep the car balanced instead of rocking it further off-center.
- On seesaws and tilting platforms, ease forward just enough to shift the balance point, then pause to let the car settle before committing to full speed.
It's a good fit for short sessions — a level takes seconds to attempt, so it's easy to squeeze in "just one more try" between things.
