Double Edged Game

Double Edged is a side-scrolling sword-fighting game from Nitrome that throws you and a friend against wave after wave of ancient warriors. Pick a fighter, draw your blade, and cut a path through each stage as enemies close in from both sides.

The catch is that a hard enough hit knocks your sword clean out of your hand. You're left scrambling to grab it back before the next attacker reaches you, so fights turn into a mix of aggression and damage control across all twelve levels.

Controls

• Arrow Keys — move
• N — slash
• M — jump

Tips

• Back off from enemies mid wind-up rather than trading hits — those are the attacks that disarm you.
• Grab a dropped sword immediately; you're an easy target while unarmed.
• Gold you pick up goes toward upgrading your warrior, so clear enemies instead of running past them.
• A second player on the same keyboard can cover the side you can't watch when enemies attack from both directions.

Double Edged suits a short couch co-op session more than a long solo run — grab a second player on the same keyboard and see how far the two of you get.
