About Cooking Tile

Cooking Tile is a tile-matching puzzle from the Mahjong-and-connect family, reskinned with a kitchen theme. Tiles carrying food icons are stacked and layered across the board; tapping one that isn't covered by another sends it down into a collection tray, and gathering three matching tiles there clears them out.

The challenge comes from managing that tray rather than from the tapping itself. Only a limited number of tiles can sit in the tray at once, so grabbing mismatched tiles too early can leave you with a full tray and no completed sets — each move is really a small decision about which tiles to expose next.

Controls

Tap or click the tiles you want to collect — there's no keyboard involved. Only tiles that are fully visible, not covered by others, can be selected.

Tips

  • Clear stacked tiles first. Tiles buried under others are the real obstacle — uncovering them opens up more matching options than grabbing an easy tile sitting on top.
  • Don't collect a tile just because it's available. If it doesn't contribute to a set you're already building, leave it on the board rather than filling a tray slot with it.
  • Watch your tray space as closely as the board. Running out of room in the tray ends the level just as surely as running out of moves.

Levels run just a few minutes each, which makes it a good fit for quick breaks rather than long sittings.

Cooking Tile FAQ

How do I clear tiles in Cooking Tile?
Tap a tile that isn't covered by another one to send it into the tray at the bottom of the screen. Once three matching tiles land in the tray, they clear automatically.
What happens if the tray fills up?
The level ends if the tray's limited slots fill with tiles that don't form a matching set of three, so it pays to plan which tiles you expose.
Can I play Cooking Tile on mobile?
Yes. It works with both mouse clicks and touch taps, so it plays the same way on a phone, tablet, or desktop browser.
