Total Party Kill is a clever puzzle-platformer that turns the traditional dungeon crawler on its head. Developed by Jussi Simpanen, this game challenges you to lead a Knight, a Mage, and a Ranger through a dangerous dungeon filled with spikes, traps, and high ledges. However, the path to the exit is too difficult for all three heroes to survive. To complete each stage, you must utilize the unique abilities of your companions by sacrificing them in creative ways.

Your ultimate goal is to get at least one member of your three-person party to the exit door. Whether you freeze a teammate to make a stepping block, launch them across a chasm, or pin them to a wall with an arrow, teamwork in this game means making the ultimate sacrifice. Plan your steps carefully, switch between your heroes, and figure out who is going to be left behind for the greater good.

Character Mechanics

• The Knight: Equipped with a mighty sword, the Knight can hit his allies to launch them across wide chasms or onto high ledges.
• The Mage: The Mage can cast a freezing spell to turn teammates into solid blocks of ice. These blocks can be pushed around and used as platforms to reach higher areas or cover spike pits.
• The Ranger: Using his bow, the Ranger can shoot arrows that push buttons or pin teammates to walls, creating temporary ledges that heroes can jump onto.

You can control all characters using the following keyboard mappings:

• Move / Run: Left and Right Arrow keys
• Jump: Z key
• Use Ability / Attack: X key
• Switch Character: A or S keys

Tips for Dungeon Exploration

• Count Your Sacrifices: Since you only need one hero to reach the door, identify who is the most critical for the final climb and who can be spared early on.
• Reset is Free: If you make a wrong move or accidentally block your path, press R to restart the stage instantly.
• Ice Blocks Float: Freezing a character on top of spikes provides a safe pathway for the remaining team members.
