About Time To Fight

Time to Fight drops you into a one-on-one brawl against the CPU (or a second player on the same keyboard), and the whole thing is built around speed: whoever reacts and lands hits fastest wins the round. There's no health bar to grind down carefully here, it's a fast, scrappy scrap from the opening second.

What sets it apart is the arenas. Instead of one generic stage, Russpuppy built nine of them, and each one changes the fight: a retro-computer stage, a tumbleweed desert, a lava field, a fairy forest, a soccer field, a castle dungeon, and a bathroom where you can literally flush your opponent down the toilet to win. Pick from 19 characters, from killer kitties to zombies to tentacle-men, and jump straight into a match.

Controls

Two players can fight on one keyboard:

  • Player 1: A/D to move, W to jump, F to attack
  • Player 2: Arrow keys to move, Up to jump, / to attack

Controls can be remapped in the game's options if you'd rather set your own keys.

Tips

  • Playing solo just means the CPU takes Player 2's slot, so the same control scheme and remapping still apply.
  • Each arena has its own hazards and quirks worth learning, the bathroom stage's toilet-flush finisher is one of the more literal ones.
  • With 19 characters to try, switching fighters between rounds is a quick way to find one whose reach and speed suit your playstyle.

It runs right in the browser with nothing to install, and it suits short, competitive bursts, whether that's a quick CPU match or passing the keyboard to a friend for local versus.
