About Slime Laboratory

Slime Laboratory is a physics platformer where you play a squishy green blob trying to escape the lab it was created in. There's no run button and no combat — just a soft, bouncy body that squeezes through gaps, sticks to walls, and has to be nudged carefully across fifteen rooms full of spikes, saws, and things a lab technician clearly shouldn't have left lying around.

Each level is really a small puzzle: figure out the safe path through the hazards, then execute it without the blob's momentum carrying it into something sharp. Floppy disks are scattered around every room for points, and picking them up cleanly before reaching the exit is usually harder than reaching the exit itself.

Controls

  • Left / Right arrow keys — move
  • Up arrow — jump
  • Down arrow — crouch / drop through

Tips

  • The blob keeps its momentum after a jump, so line up narrow gaps before you leap rather than trying to steer mid-air.
  • It can stick briefly to walls and ledges — use that to slow a fall instead of dropping straight onto a hazard below.
  • Grab the disks on your way past rather than backtracking for them; most rooms are laid out so the collection route and the exit route overlap.

It's a good pick for short sessions — each level takes a minute or two, the controls are just three keys, and there's nothing to install or sign up for.

Slime Laboratory FAQ

How do I control the blob?
Use the arrow keys: left and right to move, up to jump, and down to crouch or drop through certain platforms.
How many levels are there?
Slime Laboratory has fifteen levels, each a short room built around a specific set of hazards to navigate.
Do I need to collect the floppy disks?
They're optional but worth grabbing for points — most rooms let you pick them up on the same path that leads to the exit.
Is there a story to the game?
Loosely: your blob is a lab creation trying to escape the facility it was made in, room by room.
