Riddle School is a classic point-and-click puzzle game that puts you in the shoes of Phil Eggtree, a student who is completely fed up with his boring classes. Your single goal is to escape the school building by exploring rooms, talking to characters, and finding items that can help you slip past the teachers. It captures the pure essence of early flash game escape rooms, requiring a mix of logic, observation, and just clicking on everything to see what happens.
The pace is entirely driven by you. You will wander the hallways, stash strange items in your inventory, and figure out how to combine them to unlock doors or distract the staff. Every puzzle makes a kind of cartoon sense—whether it is finding a hall pass or figuring out how to deal with the principal, the solutions always reward creative thinking.
Controls
- Mouse: Click to interact with objects, pick up items, and talk to people.
- Inventory: Click an item in your inventory at the bottom of the screen, then click where you want to use it.
Tips
- Check everything in a room. Even if an object does not seem useful right away, it might be the exact tool you need three rooms later.
- Talk to everyone you meet. The students and teachers will often drop hints about what you need to do next, or at least give you a funny response.
- Think about the logical use for your items. If you find something that makes noise or causes a distraction, look for a teacher who is guarding a hallway.
