Penalty Shooters is a classic football game that strips the sport down to its most nerve-wracking moment: the penalty shootout. You play through a tournament bracket, taking turns as both the penalty taker and the goalkeeper. Selecting a team from one of the available leagues, your goal is to eliminate your opponents by outscoring them in a best-of-five shootout format.

Every match requires a mix of good timing and quick reactions. When shooting, you need to balance power and placement to get the ball past the keeper. When defending, it's about spotting the shot direction and clicking fast enough to make the save. The progression gets tougher as you advance through the tournament bracket, with AI opponents becoming much more precise.

Controls

• Shoot: Click and hold the left mouse button, drag to aim and build power, then release to kick.
• Save: Click on the red target indicator that appears in the goal right as the opponent strikes the ball.

Tips

• Aim for the corners: A shot with moderate power aimed directly into the top corners is extremely difficult for the keeper to reach.
• React, don't guess: When defending, do not guess early. Wait for the red target to appear and click it as fast as you can.
• Vary your power: Mixing slow, rolling shots with powerful strikes can occasionally throw off the opponent's timing.
