Papa's Bakeria puts you behind the counter of Papa Louie's bakery in Whiskview Mall, taking pie orders from a rotating cast of regulars and building each one from the crust up. Every order ticket spells out exactly what a customer wants — the crust, the filling, how long it should bake, and the toppings on top — and your score depends on matching it as closely as you can.

A typical order moves through four stations: shape and place the right crust, load it with the requested filling, slide it into the oven and pull it at the right moment, then finish it at the topping station with whatever glaze, drizzle or garnish the ticket calls for. During busy rushes several pies are in progress at once, so juggling stations without losing track of any single order is most of the challenge.

Controls

Everything runs on the mouse, or tap on a touchscreen — click to pick ingredients, place them, and move between stations. There's no keyboard input.

Tips

• Read the order ticket before you start plating. Crust type, filling amounts and bake preference are all spelled out, and matching them exactly is what earns a top score.
• Watch the oven closely once a pie goes in — pulling it too early or too late costs points even if everything else about the order is right.
• During a rush, get every pie's crust and filling done first, then cycle back through baking and topping. Trying to finish one pie start-to-finish before starting the next falls behind fast.
