OvO 2 strips away complicated mechanics to deliver a pure, momentum-based parkour experience. Playing as a simple stickman, you'll race through obstacle courses that require split-second timing to overcome. The game is entirely built around speedrunning, challenging you to find the most efficient line through each level by chaining together different acrobatic moves.
A single run feels incredibly fast and precise. There are no power-ups or enemies to fight—your only opponent is the level architecture and the ticking clock. Because respawns are instantaneous when you hit a hazard, you can rapidly test different approaches to tricky sections without losing focus. Getting through a level is only half the battle; the real goal is shaving every possible fraction of a second off your completion time.
Controls
The control scheme relies on a few core inputs that combine into an extensive moveset:
- Arrow Keys or WASD: Move left and right
- Up Arrow / W: Jump
- Down Arrow / S: Slide (while running) or Dive (while in the air)
Speedrunning Tips
- The Slide-Jump: If you press jump while you are sliding, you will perform a long jump. This covers much more horizontal distance than a standard leap and helps you maintain your top speed.
- Strategic Diving: Pressing down while airborne instantly sends your character hurtling to the ground. Use this to skip the slow, floaty descent of a normal jump and get your feet back on the floor so you can keep sprinting.
- Wall Jumping: When you hit a vertical surface, pressing jump will bounce you off it. Stringing multiple wall jumps together is essential for climbing vertical shafts.
