Your goal each round is to fill a heart meter before the workday ends. Holding a kiss fills it faster than short taps, but the romance meter also drains during the gaps when you're not kissing, so pure caution loses just as fast as recklessness does. Getting spotted mid-kiss risks your office romance getting shut down entirely, so the whole game is a push-and-pull between filling hearts and watching the boss.
