In this chaotic 2D physics-based roguelite platformer, players control "M," a small shape-shifting robot fighting for survival in a world constructed of hostile geometry. Every object, bullet, and enemy in the level behaves according to realistic momentum, gravity, and collision forces powered by the Matter.js physics engine. The goal is to maneuver through increasingly dangerous chambers, defeat massive bosses, and gather game-altering technologies to escape.
Your survival hinges on managing your current "Field" ability alongside an arsenal of unique weapons. Whether you are blasting enemies with a foam gun, launching bouncy super balls, or pinning enemies with a harpoon, you must constantly balance your momentum. Defeating bosses rewards you with specialized tech upgrades—ranging from skins like Tungsten Carbide and Nitinol to bizarre "junk" items—allowing you to create custom, synergized builds that bend the laws of physics to your advantage.
Controls
- Move / Jump: Use W, A, S, D (or Arrow Keys) to run, jump, and double-jump. Press S to crouch or slide down ramps.
- Aim & Fire: Aim with the mouse cursor and click the Left Mouse Button (or press F) to fire.
- Field Ability: Click the Right Mouse Button (or press Space) to trigger your active physics field.
- Swap Weapons: Press Q or E (or scroll the mouse wheel) to switch between your equipped guns.
- Pause: Press P to pause the action and view your active tech upgrades.
Tips
- Synergize Tech and Skins: Tech upgrades are the key to long runs. Pair movement-enhancing skins like Nitinol with high-damage weapons to bypass their speed penalties, or build around a defensive field to reflect projectiles.
- Use Physics to Your Advantage: Let gravity and momentum do the work. Knock heavy blocks onto enemies, slide down steep slopes to build up speed, or bounce projectiles off walls to strike targets from safety.
- Manage Your Field Usage: Your field is a powerful tool for deflection or movement, but using it drains your energy. Avoid spamming it; instead, save it for tight situations where you need to block bullets or slow down time.
