Mahjong Firefly Game

Mahjong Firefly takes the classic tile-matching format and drops it into a set of glowing, forest-lit boards. The rules stay familiar — find two open, identical tiles and click them to clear the pair — but the layouts get denser as you go, stacking tiles in ways that hide the match you need behind two or three others.

The pressure comes from the clock as much as the layout. Every board has to be fully cleared before time runs out, so a level isn't just about spotting pairs, it's about spotting them fast enough to outpace the timer. Power tiles show up on tougher boards to give you a way out of a jam — useful when the last few tiles on a board are buried and time is short.

Controls

Left mouse button only: click one tile, then click its matching pair to remove both. Only tiles that are unblocked on at least one side can be selected.

Tips

• Clear from the edges of the pile inward — edge tiles unblock more of the layout per match than tiles buried in the middle.
• Scan the whole board before your first click instead of grabbing the first pair you see; an early match can bury a pair you needed later.
• Save power tiles for boards where several tiles are stacked with no visible match — that's when they save the most time.

It plays on desktop, phone, or tablet, so it suits a quick round on a break as easily as a longer session at a keyboard.
