Lurkers.io is a free browser multiplayer game from Bergice Productions, built around a fully destructible, physics-based world rather than one fixed way to play. When you join, you pick from four separate modes, and the map itself — every block of it breakable and placeable — is as much a tool as any weapon.
A session can look very different depending on which mode you queue into: a tense race to punch through a fortified bed, a slow build-up of defenses before a zombie wave hits, a straight kill race against a rival team, or an open-ended stretch in a procedurally generated world where nothing is scripted and you decide whether to build alone, team up, or start a fight.
Modes
- Bedwars — destroy the enemy team's bed to eliminate their ability to respawn and secure the win.
- Zombie Survival — defend a base against waves of zombies while gathering resources and upgrading weapons between attacks.
- Team Deathmatch — two teams race to rack up kills and dominate the scoreboard.
- Survival — an open, procedurally generated world with no set objective: build, form alliances, or wage war.
Controls
- WASD to move.
- Left-click to shoot or destroy blocks.
- Right-click to interact or place blocks.
- B to open crafting or buying.
- R to reload.
- Shift to walk slowly.
- C to drop an item.
Tips
- The map is destructible everywhere, not just in Bedwars — digging or building cover on the fly works in any mode when a fight turns against you.
- The eight available weapons run from close-quarters swords to sniper rifles and explosive launchers, so switch to something long-ranged before pushing across open ground.
- In Zombie Survival, use the quiet stretches between waves to reinforce your base rather than exploring — the waves scale up as you go.
- Shift gives you a slower, quieter walk when you need to reposition without drawing attention.
Lurkers.io is also mod-friendly: players can host their own servers and script custom gamemodes instead of sticking to the four built-in ones. It runs entirely in the browser with nothing to install.
