Karakuri Game

Karakuri is a minimalist, logic-based puzzle game developed by Okashi Games that tests your spatial reasoning and planning skills. Unlike high-pressure falling-block games, Karakuri operates at a calm and deliberate pace, with no timers or gravity forcing your hand. Players are given colored puzzle pieces one at a time and must strategically place them onto a grid, with the primary goal of grouping matching colors together to clear them from the board and prevent the grid from filling up.

Every session feels like a mechanical puzzle box where each move counts. As you progress, the game introduces over 50 unique gimmicks, obstacles, and hazards across its 500 levels, constantly challenging you to adapt your strategy. Organizing the blocks efficiently while setting up satisfying combo chains is key to surviving the increasingly complex spatial layouts.

Controls

• Desktop: Use your mouse cursor to click, drag, and drop puzzle pieces from the supply panel onto the grid.
• Mobile & Tablets: Tap and drag pieces with your finger to position them on the screen.

Tips

• Plan Ahead: Since there is no time limit, analyze your current piece and the grid layout carefully before placing a block. A single misplaced piece can disrupt your clean slate and block future matches.
• Create Chain Combos: Try to cluster identical colors in ways that trigger chain reactions when they clear. This clears more space on the grid and helps boost your score.
• Conserve Your Hints: The puzzles get significantly more difficult as you pass level 400. Try to solve earlier levels on your own so you have hints left for the late-game bottlenecks.
