About Jelly Venture

Jelly Venture puts you in control of Jelly, a shapeshifting blob on a quest to find his lost puppy, Nala. Your character runs forward on his own, so the whole game comes down to timing: drag across the screen and let go to fling Jelly through the air, sticking wherever he lands so he can squeeze through gaps and pull himself along walls and ceilings.

Each level threads that fling-and-stick move through tighter and tighter spaces — narrow tunnels, spike-lined corners, and pockets of water that call for a different rhythm than open ground. Coins and stars are scattered along the way, and collecting them unlocks new skins for Jelly rather than changing how he handles, so the challenge stays purely about reading the level and landing the swing.

Controls

Drag your finger or mouse across the play area and release to fling Jelly and stick him to the nearest surface. There's no separate jump button — the drag-and-release is the whole move.

Tips

  • Short drags give short, controlled hops through tight gaps; save the long flings for open stretches where you have room to land.
  • Release a beat before you'd expect to, since Jelly keeps drifting after you let go.
  • Watch for water — it slows Jelly down mid-swing, so line up your next stick point before you touch it.

It's a good pick for short sessions: each level is a quick puzzle of momentum and sticking points, easy to pick up and put down between attempts.

Jelly Venture FAQ

How do you control Jelly in Jelly Venture?
Drag your finger or mouse across the screen and release to fling Jelly and stick him to the nearest surface — there's no separate jump button, the drag-and-release is the whole move.
What do the coins and stars do?
Collecting them unlocks new skins for Jelly. They're cosmetic only and don't change how he moves or handles.
Can I play Jelly Venture on mobile?
Yes, the drag-and-release control scheme works the same with touch as it does with a mouse.
What makes the later levels harder?
The same fling-and-stick move gets tested through narrower tunnels, spike-lined corners, and water that slows Jelly's momentum mid-swing.
