Hide and Paint Game

Hide and Paint is a clever twist on the classic game of hide-and-seek. Instead of just ducking behind obstacles, you must blend directly into the environment. You start as a blank, white character and must paint yourself to match the colors of the background, camouflaging your presence. If you paint and pose correctly, you will become virtually invisible to the seekers.

Each round is a tense battle of wits between the hiders and the seekers. As a hider, your goal is to survive until the timer runs out by constantly adapting to your surroundings. As a seeker, you must inspect every detail of the scenery to spot anyone who didn't blend in quite right. It is a game that rewards observation, quick thinking, and creative camouflage.

Controls

Standard controls for playing on a computer:

• WASD or Arrow keys: Move your character.
• Mouse movement: Look around and aim.
• Left Mouse Button: Interact and apply paint.
• Spacebar: Jump.

For mobile and tablet players, the controls are fully touch-based. Simply drag on the screen to move and look, and tap to apply paint.

Tips

• Pick your background carefully: Find areas with solid, easily reproducible colors. Complex patterns are much harder to match and make you stand out more easily.
• Pose matters: Don't just paint yourself; make sure you align your character's posture and angle with the structure behind you.
• Watch the shadow: Even if your color matching is perfect, your shadow can still give you away. Try to hide in areas that are already shadowed to minimize this risk.
