Hextris Game

Hextris takes the core matching concept of Tetris and wraps it around a central, rotating hexagon. Instead of guiding pieces as they fall to the bottom of the screen, you are defending the center from lines approaching from all six sides. Your goal is to rotate the hexagon to catch these lines, matching three or more of the same color to clear them away before they stack too high.

The pace is what sets Hextris apart. It starts calmly, but as your score climbs, the lines approach faster and in more complex patterns. You have to constantly scan the entire perimeter, quickly calculating which side needs which color, while managing the stacks building up on each of the six faces. It's a fantastic test of reflexes and spatial awareness.

• Left / Right Arrows: Rotate the central hexagon.
• A / D Keys: Alternative rotation controls.

Tips for High Scores

• Keep the board balanced: It's easy to focus entirely on one side and let the opposite side stack up dangerously high. Try to distribute colors evenly.
• Sacrifice for combos: Sometimes it is better to deliberately place a non-matching color if it sets up a chain reaction when the block beneath it is cleared. Combos are where the massive points are.
• Stay near the center: Lines clear from the center outwards, so matching blocks close to the hexagon core will safely drop everything stacked above them.
