Get On Top is a fast-paced, physics-based wrestling game designed for two players sharing a single keyboard. The premise is brilliantly simple: two stick figures are locked in a grapple, and the first one to let their head touch the ground loses the round. It strips away complex mechanics to focus entirely on momentum, leverage, and reading your opponent's next move.
Matches are incredibly short and often descend into frantic button-mashing, but there is a surprising amount of strategy hidden in the chaos. Since every movement affects both characters, a sudden pull can throw an aggressive opponent off balance, while a well-timed push can pin them before they react. It is the perfect competitive game for quick sessions with a friend sitting next to you.
Controls
Get On Top requires two players on the same computer. There is no single-player mode against an AI.
- Player 1 (Left Side): Use the W, A, S, D keys to push, pull, and jump.
- Player 2 (Right Side): Use the Arrow Keys to push, pull, and jump.
Tips
- Use their momentum: If your opponent is aggressively pushing forward, pulling backward can cause them to overextend and flip over you.
- Stay grounded: Jumping can give you a height advantage, but it also leaves you completely helpless if the player manages to grab you mid-air.
- Watch your head: Remember, you only lose if your head hits the floor. You can balance on your back or arms indefinitely as long as your head stays up.
