Fleeing the Complex is the fourth chapter of the Henry Stickmin Collection, the choice-driven stick-figure series by Marc "PuffballsUnited" Perry. Henry has just been caught at the end of Stealing the Diamond, and this episode opens with him locked inside the Wall, a prison built specifically to hold him. There's no combat and no platforming here: the whole game is a chain of decisions, and each one sends the story down a different path.
At every stop you're shown two or three options and click the one you want Henry to try. Some picks lead straight into a short, deliberately absurd failure animation; others keep the escape going and eventually land on one of several distinct endings. Nothing here tests reflexes — it's closer to an interactive cartoon than a traditional game, and the fun comes from seeing where each branch actually goes.
Controls
- Mouse only — click the option you want to choose at each decision point
Tips
- There's no penalty for picking the "wrong" option — a failed attempt just plays its own short scene, then lets you try again instantly
- The story branches early into a handful of separate allies and approaches, so a single choice near the start can lock you into a completely different half of the game
- If you want to see everything the chapter has to offer, replay it and pick differently at the first major fork rather than only the later ones
- Watch how characters react to a choice before the scene cuts away — it's often a hint at what that path leads to next
Because a full run only takes a couple of minutes, it suits short breaks as much as one long session spent hunting down every ending.
