About Cat Clicker

Cat Clicker is a lightweight incremental game built around one simple loop: click a cartoon cat, watch a counter labeled Cat Points climb, and spend those points to make future clicks worth more. There's no story or level to clear — just a curve of numbers that gets steeper the more you invest, which is the entire appeal of the genre.

The whole game runs in a single window. A cat sits in the middle of the screen waiting to be clicked, a running Cat Points total sits above it, and a shop panel lists ten separate upgrades that each push your per-click or passive rate higher. Once your point total lets you afford several purchases at once, the interface offers Buy 1, Buy 10, Buy 100 and Max options so you're not clicking through the shop one purchase at a time.

Controls

Mouse or tap only: click the cat to earn Cat Points, and click an upgrade (or one of the buy-quantity buttons) to purchase it. There is no keyboard input.

Tips

  • Once you can afford more than one of an upgrade, switch to the Buy 10, Buy 100 or Max button instead of clicking through purchases one at a time.
  • The game has three separate reset tiers — Cat Ascend, Cat Rebirth and Cat Sacrifice — each of which clears your current upgrades and Cat Points for a permanent bonus. Save a reset for when your point growth has genuinely stalled rather than using it the moment it unlocks.

It's a good fit for short breaks or a background tab you check back on between tasks, rather than a game that asks for your full attention.

Cat Clicker FAQ

How do you play Cat Clicker?
Click the cat on screen to earn Cat Points, then spend them on any of the ten upgrades to increase how many points you earn per click or passively over time.
What do the Buy 1, Buy 10, Buy 100 and Max buttons do?
They set how many of the selected upgrade you purchase in one click, so you don't have to buy them one at a time once you can afford more.
What happens when I use Cat Ascend, Cat Rebirth or Cat Sacrifice?
Each is a separate reset tier that clears your current upgrades and Cat Points in exchange for a permanent bonus, the usual trade-off in incremental games — save them for when your point growth has stalled.
