Brainrot Puzzle takes the "Italian Brainrot" meme craze and turns it into a swap-tile picture puzzle. Each level starts as a shuffled grid of pieces, and clicking one piece and dropping it onto another swaps the two around. Do that enough times in the right order and the jumbled image resolves into a full-color portrait of one of the meme characters, like Tralalero Tralala, Bombardiro Crocodilo or Ballerina Cappuccina.
There is no timer pushing you along, so a round is as quick or as unhurried as you want it to be. Every puzzle you finish adds its character to a gallery you can revisit, and the game also has a separate quiz mode where you are shown a character and have to name it correctly to add to your best score - a decent test of how many of the brainrot characters you have actually picked up.
Controls
Click and hold a puzzle piece, drag it on top of the piece you want to trade places with, then release to swap them. On phones and tablets the same works with a tap-and-drag instead of a click-and-drag.
Tips
- Solve the corners and any piece with a distinctive color or feature first - they are easiest to place correctly and give you fixed points to build the rest of the picture around.
- Stuck on a level? There is a hint button built into the puzzle screen that will nudge you toward the next correct swap.
- Check the gallery between rounds to see which characters you are still missing before jumping into the quiz mode.
It is a relaxed pick-up-and-play puzzle game, best suited to short sessions and to anyone who already knows the brainrot meme characters and wants an excuse to look at more of them.
