American Football Challenge puts you in the gloves of a receiver, not a kicker. A quarterback fires the ball toward you, and your only job is to get your hands under it before it hits the ground — no playbook, no defense, just you, the throw, and a target window that keeps shrinking.
Each of the ten levels ramps up the challenge: throws come in faster, with more sideways drift, and less time to react. Catch cleanly and your score climbs; misjudge the drop and it costs you. It's a short, replayable loop built around timing and reading the ball rather than button-mashing.
Controls
Move your mouse on desktop, or drag your finger on mobile, to slide the receiver's gloves under the ball. There's no keyboard input — positioning is everything.
Tips
- Start tracking the ball the moment it leaves the quarterback's hand — reacting late leaves no room to correct for drift on the harder levels.
- Each level throws faster and wilder than the one before it, so bank the easier catches early before the sideways force ramps up.
- A clean catch adds to your score and a drop subtracts from it, so a steady streak beats lunging for a low-percentage grab.
- Stuck on a level? Head back to the level select screen and replay it — there's no penalty for trying again.
It suits players who want a short, focused reflex game rather than a full football sim — a couple of minutes at a time, right in the browser.
