Controls

• Left and Right Arrow Keys: Slide the falling block left or right.

• Spacebar: Hard drop (instantly places the block).
• Shift Key or C Key: Hold the current block or swap it with a stored one.

Tips for Better Stacking

• Keep Your Board Level: Try to keep the top of your block stack as flat as possible. Creating deep vertical wells makes it difficult to place anything than a straight line block, which can quickly lead to cluttered boards.
• Utilize the Hold Queue: If you receive a block that does not fit well with your current layout, swap it into the hold slot. Saving a straight line piece for a quick multi-row clear is a reliable way to clean up a high stack.
• Avoid Trapping Empty Space: Placing a block over an empty cell creates a hole that cannot be cleared until the rows above it are removed. Focus on placing blocks flush against the floor or pieces.
