About Tail Swing

Tail Swing hands you a single button and a very long tail. Grab at the right moment and your character latches onto the nearest platform, swings around it, and slingshots toward the next foothold — mistime it and you drop straight into a spike or an open gap.

Each level is a short chain of these swings, so a run rarely takes more than a minute or two, but the timing gets tighter as levels go on and spikes crowd closer to the platforms. Coins picked up along the way unlock new animal characters to play as, which gives cleared levels a reason to be replayed.

Controls

  • Desktop: click the mouse or press Spacebar to grab and release
  • Mobile: tap the screen to grab and release

It's built for short sessions — a level or two at a time — rather than long uninterrupted play, since the whole game is one quick, repeatable timing loop.

Tail Swing FAQ

What are the controls for Tail Swing?
One button does everything: click the mouse or press Spacebar on desktop, or tap the screen on mobile, to grab a platform and release.
Can I play Tail Swing on mobile?
Yes, it has touch controls and works on phone and tablet as well as desktop.
What do the coins do?
Coins collected during a run unlock different animal characters to play as. They don't grant extra lives or change the difficulty.
Does Tail Swing get harder as you go?
Yes. Later levels place spikes and gaps closer together, so the same one-button timing has less room for error even though each level stays short.
