About Stickman War

Stickman War is a side-scrolling strategy game where you must build an army to destroy the opposing statue while protecting your own. You start each match with just your base and a few gold deposits. From there, it is a constant tug-of-war as you balance your resources between economy and military power, trying to overwhelm the enemy before they break through your lines.

The core loop relies on managing your miners, who passively collect gold, and using that income to train different unit types. You can summon cheap sword fighters to swarm the field, archers for ranged support, heavily armored spearmen, or even devastating magic users and giants. Because the enemy is doing exactly the same thing, every match turns into a reactive tactical puzzle where you must counter their unit composition with your own.

Controls

  • Train Units: Click the unit icons at the top of the screen to spend gold and queue them for training.
  • Army Commands: Use the global command buttons in the top right to order your entire army to Attack, Defend, or Garrison behind your statue.
  • Manual Control: Click on any individual unit on the battlefield to take direct control of them using the WASD or Arrow keys to move and Space to attack.

Tips for Success

  • Economy first: Always prioritize building your miner count at the very beginning of a level. A strong gold income will carry you through the mid and late game.
  • Use the garrison: If a massive enemy wave is approaching, don't leave your units out to die. Garrison them to heal, and use your statue's defensive bow to thin out the attackers.
  • Counter your opponent: Don't just build one unit type. If the enemy brings a lot of ranged units, close the gap quickly with cheap melee fighters or manual control.

Stickman War FAQ

How do you get more gold in Stickman War?
You need to train miners by clicking their icon at the top of the screen. Miners will automatically gather gold from the deposits near your statue, funding the rest of your army.
What is the best early strategy?
Focus heavily on miners at the start of a match. A strong economy allows you to spam cheap melee fighters early on to hold the line while you save up for powerful ranged units and giants.
How do you control your army?
You can issue global commands using the attack, defend, and garrison buttons. You can also click on individual units to manually control their movement and attacks for precise plays.
