Mutiny Game

Mutiny is a turn-based pirate strategy game from Nitrome where two teams take turns lobbing pirates and firing cannons across a battlefield of floating platforms. Each turn you pick one of your pirates, throw them into a better position, then let them attack, whether that's hurling a weapon by hand or swinging a cannon around to line up a shot.

Aiming works like a slingshot: pull back from a pirate or cannon and release to send it flying, with a line showing roughly where the shot will land. Treasure chests fall onto the map during a match, and grabbing one restocks your ammo, so getting into position to reach them matters as much as landing a hit.

Controls

Everything is mouse-only. Click and drag away from a pirate or cannon, like pulling back a slingshot, then release to move or fire. Dragging a cannon's back pin lets you swing it around a full circle before you pull back and let go to fire.

Tips

• Each pirate gets one free throw before they act, use it to get to better cover rather than firing from where you land.
• Head for treasure chests when your ammo is running low; they drop during the match and refill your weapons.
• Cannons rotate a full 360 degrees, so reposition one to cover an angle your pirates can't reach.

It's built around a quick head-to-head match rather than a long solo session, two teams of pirates trading throws and cannon fire until one side is wiped out.
