Mechabots hands you parts, not a fight. You pick a T-Rex-shaped robot frame, then click through a bin of armor plates, paint colors and weapon attachments until it looks the way you want. There's no timer and no wrong answer — the point is matching pieces and seeing your own design come together, one bolt at a time.
It's a building and decorating game rather than an action game: select a part, drag it onto the frame, adjust the color, and keep going until the mechabot is finished. Sessions are short and low-pressure, closer to a dress-up game than a combat sim, even though the finished robots look battle-ready.
Controls
Desktop: click to select a part, then click and drag to place it on the frame.
Mobile: tap to select, then drag with your finger to position each piece.
Mechabots was made by Terminarch Games, a two-person studio in the Netherlands that moved from Flash development into HTML5 games. It suits players who enjoy quiet, creative building loops — picking parts and finishing a design — more than players looking for combat or high scores.
