Ledge Throw is a minimalist puzzle-platformer built around a single, deceptively tricky idea: you don't jump between platforms, you make them. Press the throw key and your character fires a temporary ledge onto the nearest wall, then hops onto it. The catch is that only one ledge can exist at a time, so firing a new one destroys the last, turning every crossing into a small planning problem rather than a reflex test.
Across its levels, that one mechanic keeps getting more complicated. Spike-covered walls won't hold a ledge at all, and switches wired to on/off gates or "?" toggles change what the level looks like the moment your ledge lands. Getting stuck usually means the exit isn't unreachable, just that the last ledge was placed one wall too early.
Controls
- Move: WASD or arrow keys
- Throw a ledge: X
- Reset the level: R
Tips
- Think one throw ahead — since the old ledge disappears the moment you fire a new one, plan the whole crossing before you commit to the first platform.
- Spike walls reject ledges outright, so use them as a map of where you can't land rather than an obstacle to avoid touching.
- If a level looks unsolvable, look for a switch first — many puzzles change the wall layout once you toggle one.
It suits short, focused sessions where you want a puzzle that rewards a few seconds of thought over fast reactions.
