Jelly Well is a match-and-merge puzzle game from Walaber, the studio's first release on Poki. A colony of jellies is under siege, and each level asks you to clear a board of colored blobs before the invading wave overwhelms you. Matching three or more of the same color merges them together, and chaining several merges in a row builds bigger combos that clear the board faster.
The pressure comes from pacing rather than reflexes: each phase adds tougher patterns and less room for error, so a session is really a string of short puzzle bursts rather than one long level. It plays well in quick stretches, which suits its point-and-click controls on both desktop and mobile.
Controls
Click or tap and drag across jellies of the same color to match and merge them. No keyboard is needed.
Tips
- Look for chains that clear multiple colors at once rather than the first match you see — bigger merges buy more breathing room against the next wave.
- Clear from the edges of the board inward when possible, since stray blobs near the borders are easy to lose track of as the board fills up.
- Slow down on later phases — a rushed match that breaks a bigger potential combo often costs more time than it saves.
It's a good fit for anyone who likes short, replayable puzzle sessions rather than a long story-driven game — a few minutes is enough for a phase or two.
