About Gswitch 2

Gswitch 2 removes the jump button from the traditional platformer formula and replaces it with gravity inversion. You control a cybernetic runner moving forward at a constant, blistering speed. Instead of leaping over gaps, you must switch gravity to run along ceilings and walls, weaving through deadly traps without losing your momentum.

The game offers a static campaign mode, an endless mode for high scores, and a chaotic local multiplayer mode where up to eight players can compete on the same keyboard. The challenge comes from reacting instantly—if you flip too late or fall off the screen, your run is instantly over.

Controls

  • Left Click / Spacebar / Any Key: Invert gravity (Single-player)
  • Multiplayer: Each player is assigned a specific key (like C, M, Ctrl, Right Arrow) depending on their player slot.

Tips for Survival

  • Look ahead of the runner: Do not stare directly at your character. Keep your eyes on the right edge of the screen to anticipate upcoming gaps and obstacles before they reach you.
  • Use gravity to stall: You can rapidly flip gravity back and forth while falling to slow your downward momentum, giving you an extra fraction of a second to line up a tricky landing.
  • Memorize the campaign: The endless mode is randomized, but the campaign levels never change. Treat the campaign like a rhythm game and focus on memorizing the timing of your flips.

With its straightforward mechanics and immediate restarts, Gswitch 2 is an excellent choice for players who enjoy punishing but fair reaction tests.
