GolfParty.io drops you and a lobby of strangers onto the same miniature golf course and lets whoever sinks the ball first, most accurately, win the hole. Built by Milkshake Games, it's a real-time multiplayer take on mini golf — no waiting for turns, no matching your score against a ghost. Everyone putts at the same time, on the same course, racing straight for the cup.
Each hole plays more like a short obstacle course than a flat green: ramps and drop-offs, windmills with moving blades, turnstiles, and sand traps that can end a good run in one bad bounce. Your finish depends on both stroke count and speed, so the fastest line isn't always the safest one, and reading a slope or a bank shot correctly under pressure is most of the skill.
Controls
Hold down the mouse button (or your finger on a touchscreen) to start aiming, drag back to set how hard you hit, angle left or right to aim, then release to putt.
Tips
- Watch the balls on the course, not just your own — knowing where opponents are tells you how much risk a shortcut is worth.
- Bank shots off the walls of narrow sections are often faster than trying to thread a straight line through moving obstacles.
- A shorter backswing you're confident in beats a long one you're guessing at; overshooting off a ramp usually costs more strokes than it saves.
It suits a quick round between matches on a phone just as well as a longer session chasing a faster finish time on desktop, and it runs straight in the browser with nothing to install.
