Controls

Goal Gang features simple and responsive controls for both desktop and mobile players:

Desktop Controls

• Move: WASD or Arrow Keys
• Kick / Shoot: Left Mouse Button
• Tackle: Right Mouse Button
• Jump: Spacebar
• Sprint: Shift
• Ping: E
• Emotes: 1, 2, 3, or 4

Mobile Controls

• Move: Drag the virtual joystick on the left side of the screen.
• Kick: Tap the Kick button on the right.
• Tackle: Tap the Tackle button on the right.
• Jump: Tap the Jump button.

Tips

• Time your tackles: Right-clicking (or tapping tackle) at the exact moment an opponent approaches the ball is crucial. Doing it too early leaves you out of position, while doing it too late lets them shoot.
• Use the sprint wisely: Sprints are excellent for chasing down loose balls or recovering on defense, but spamming sprint will quickly deplete your energy, leaving you slow when you need it most.
• Control the ball's bounce: Because of the physics-first engine, the ball reacts strongly to collisions. Try jumping before kicking to execute a high lob over defenders, or tackle the ball directly to block a powerful shot.
