Fireboy And Watergirl 3 Game

Fireboy and Watergirl 3: Ice Temple is the third game in the long-running co-op puzzle-platformer series, and the hook is right there in the name: this temple is frozen. You guide two characters at once — a boy made of fire and a girl made of water — through a temple where the floor itself works against you as much as the traps do.

Each character is immune to exactly one hazard the isn't: Fireboy walks straight through lava but dies the instant he touches water, Watergirl swims through water but dies in fire, and green slime kills both of them on contact. Getting each one to their own matching colored door means working switches, boxes and levers that only make sense once you're moving both characters as a team — whether that's you alone at one keyboard or you and a second player.

Controls

Fireboy moves with the arrow keys and jumps on the up arrow. Watergirl moves with A and D and jumps with W. Two people can play at once on the same keyboard, or one person can run both, splitting attention between them as the main challenge of solo play.

The ice theme isn't just visual. Patches of frozen floor make both characters slide until they hit something solid, so a jump that would be trivial on normal ground can carry you straight into a hazard. The level map branches instead of running in a straight line, and mixes standard puzzle rooms with timed "speed" levels and "dark" levels where visibility is deliberately limited.

Tips

• Treat ice as momentum, not solid ground — line up a slide before you're on it rather than reacting once you're already moving.
• On a dark level, move on what you remember of the room from its edges rather than guessing blind in the middle.
• Playing solo, park one character somewhere safe and stopped before you switch your attention to the — a slide you forgot about is the easiest way to lose both of them to slime.

It's built as much for two people sharing a keyboard as for one person alone, and the series' running joke still holds here: you'll drown Fireboy or torch Watergirl at least once just by forgetting which one you're currently steering.
