About Chrome Dino

Chrome Dino is the legendary endless runner built right into your browser. You control a pixelated T-Rex sprinting across an infinite desert, where the only goal is to survive as the ground flies by faster and faster.

Every run is a test of reflexes. You start at a gentle jog, hopping over scattered cacti, but the pace quickly turns frantic. Soon, you are reacting in split-seconds to dodge low-flying pterodactyls and clear wide clusters of spikes, chasing your high score as day shifts into night.

Controls

  • Spacebar / Up Arrow - Jump (hold longer for higher jumps)
  • Down Arrow - Duck
  • Tap - Jump (on mobile screens)

Tips

  • Control your jump height: Not all obstacles require a full jump. Tapping the jump button lightly helps you land faster, setting you up for the next cactus cluster.
  • Focus on the ground: Pterodactyls appear at three heights. You can run cleanly under the highest ones, duck the middle ones, and hop over the lowest ones.
  • Watch the speed: Around 700 points, the screen inverts to a dark night mode, and the game feels significantly faster. Keep your eyes locked slightly ahead of the dino to react in time.
