Once the battle starts, you take turns calling out coordinates, aiming to score hits and eventually sink the entire enemy fleet before they locate and destroy your own ships.

Game Modes

The game features two distinct play styles to suit different strategic preferences:

• Advanced Mode: Introduces tactical power-ups. As you play, you earn points that can be spent to deploy special attacks, such as radar sweeps to locate hidden ships or air strikes to bombard larger target areas.

Controls

• Mouse Controls (Desktop): Click and drag ships to place them on the grid during setup. Click a ship to rotate it. During the battle, click on any grid coordinate to launch a missile strike.
• Touch Controls (Mobile/Tablet): Tap and drag ships to arrange them. Tap a ship to rotate it. Tap grid squares to fire missiles.

Tips and Strategies

• Spread Out Your Fleet: Avoid placing your ships adjacent to one another. If an opponent finds a ship, they will usually check adjacent squares next. Leaving space between your vessels forces them to waste turns searching.
• Utilize the Edges: Many players tend to target the center of the grid first. Placing a few of your smaller ships along the outer boundaries or corners of the board can delay their detection.
• Hunt in Checkerboard Patterns: When searching for enemy ships, fire in a diagonal or checkerboard pattern (every square). This ensures you will intersect even the smallest two-unit ships without needing to check every single grid space.
• Spend Power-Ups Wisely: In Advanced Mode, save your radar scans and air strikes for when you have narrowed down a ship's general location. Blindly using an air strike early in the match often wastes valuable points on empty water.
