Backpack Battles Game

Backpack Battles is an asynchronous multiplayer auto-battler where your inventory management skills are the key to victory. You start with a small backpack and must carefully purchase and place items to maximize their potential before sending your character into automated combat against players.

Every round features a shopping phase where you spend gold on weapons, potions, armor, and accessories. The placement is crucial: combining compatible items and creating synergies—such as placing a stamina potion near your weapons—allows your build to snowball in power.

Controls

The game is played entirely with the mouse. Left-click to purchase and drag items into your backpack. Right-click while holding an item to rotate it, fitting it perfectly into your available grid space.

Tips

• Manage your stamina: Weapons consume stamina when attacking. Having too many fast weapons without stamina regeneration items like bananas or potions will cause you to miss attacks.
• Look for combinations: Placing compatible items next to each creates a golden line. After surviving a round, they will combine into a much stronger tier of equipment.
• Don't force a build: Adapt to what the shop offers. Sometimes it's better to pivot your strategy if you aren't finding the pieces you need for your initial plan.
